Obituary of Erica Nicole Cramatie-Ponzo

Erica was born on February 28, 1983 in Wilmington, DE to  Mary L. Cramatie and Leonard A. Ponzo. Erica departed this life on August 15, 2019 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE.

Erica received her early education from Red Clay Consolidated School District. She graduated from Newark High School in 2001. Erica was employed with Sonesta Es Suites where she cultivated fruitful friendships. 

Erica spent a life principally devoted to her family. She was a strong, independent and loving woman who desired to  provide only the best for her children. Erica was full of life enjoying reading, music and dancing. E was known for her infectious smile with those dimples and being straight to the point. 

Erica was preceded in death by her grandmothers Sophia Allen and Hattie Daniels. Erica was also known as E and Erica Cane the name that was given to her by her grandmother Sophia Allen. 

Erica leaves life long memories with her children, Daija, Jyaire, Jelani and Demoni Ponzo; mother, Mary L. Cramatie; father, Leonard A. Ponzo; adopted daughter, Lanasia Turner; siblings, Leonard, Jr., Shanika, Latasha, Ebony Ponzo, David Daniels and Valerie Daniels, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends
