Obituary of Ernest A. Anderson

Ernest Allen Anderson was born March 12, 1957 to Fred Anderson and Marva Anderson-Faulkner in Columbus, Ohio. He lived in Columbus until the age of one, and then the family moved to Montclair, New Jersey. At the age of nineteen he joined the army. After returning from the army he lived in Bloomfield, New Jersey, and then back to Montclair until 1981 when he moved to New Castle, Delaware.

Ernest referred to as "Buddy" to family and friends, held many jobs in his life. He was an dental technician, he worked at Midlantic Bank, detailed cars and worked as a longshoreman since 1981 joining the union later.

Buddy loved sports. He played basketball for St.Paul's Church basketball team, and the Montclair summer basketball league. He also played softball for the Casbar softball team for many years. He was a big New York Giants fan, and stood by his team in Philly territory. Some of his favorite things were martial arts and science fiction movies, cartoons, and comic books. He was very serious about his comic book collection. He also loved to spend time with his family, and friends especially his grandson.

Ernest was predeceased by his father Fred Anderson, his step father Edward Faulkner and his step sister Cassandra Bryant.

Ernest leaves behind to cherish his memories his Mother Marva Faulkner, brother Fred Anderson, sister Damita Asante, children Ernest Mitchell, Kasan Richardson, Daniesha Jones, Taren Blackwell, Ebony Jones, Ermire Anderson, six grand children, and one great grandson. Also his step mother Lorraine B. Anderson, step brothers Wayne and Darryl, step sister Yvette and a host of nieces and nephews.
