Obituary of Danny Lee Waters

Danny Lee Waters, affectionally known as ”Tuck” and “Benny”, the son of the late
Clifton Emmanuel Waters and Hazel Virginia Thompson Waters, was born on
September 11, 1959 in Elkton, MD. He departed this life on April 2, 2019, in
Compass Regional Hospice Center in Centreville, MD.

Danny received his early education from Cecilton Elementary School in Cecilton,
MD and graduated from Bohemia Manor High School, Chesapeake City, MD
Class of 1977. Upon completion of high school he worked numerous jobs such as
gas station attendant, farm hand and other seasonal work.
Danny was an avid sports fan, his favorite sport was football and was a die hard
Pittsburgh Steelers fan. His favorite past time was watching the westerns, Law and
Order, The Young and The Restless and MTV Jam Music Videos.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Emmanuel Waters, Maternal
grandparents: James and Mable Thompson, Clifton and Mildred Waters. Three
brothers: James Thompson(Alice), Thomas Thompson and Clinton
Waters(Denise).

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Hazel V. Waters, of Warwick, MD;
three sisters, Dorothy Ferrell of Warwick, MD, Jacqueline Ruley(Maurice) of
Middletown, DE and Carmen Jordan(Johnny) of Warwick, MD. One brother,
Kenneth Waters (Patricia) of Newark, DE; aunts: Ethel Johnson (Ellsworth),
Sylvia Marrow and Dorothy Brown; uncles: Leroy Thompson, Francis Thompson,
Haywood Thompson(Julia Ann); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends,
and a dear cousin James “Boot” Waters.
