To the Eaddy Family,
The Psalmist David said in: Psalm 27:4 One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.
Heaven is the goal of every Christian, and while one cannot ever be "sorry" that someone is there, it is certainly understandable to miss the close relationship that existed while here on this earth.
The great preacher D. L. Moody said: "Some day you will read in the papers that D.L. Moody, of East Northfield, is dead. Don't you believe a word of it! At that moment I shall be more alive than I am now. I shall have gone up higher, that is all-out of this old clay tenement into a house that is immortal; a body that death cannot touch, that sin cannot taint, a body fashioned like unto his glorious body. I was born of the flesh in 1837. I was born of the Spirit in 1856. That which is born of the flesh may die. That which is born of the Spirit will live forever."
What a wonderful comfort we have in knowing Jesus Christ as Savior! He truly is the Resurrection and the Life.
