He Knows, He's Been There
by Deloris Barr
If you think that no one understands
The trials you're going through
The awful pain, the heavy burdens
That seem far too much to endure
Just remember, He knows our puny frame
He's aware, He knows your name
He understands, is very much aware
Yes, He knows, He's been there
He laid aside His mighty power
That's not all, His Glory, too
Even humbled Himself further
He actually died, for me and you
Don't you see, He knows of suffering
He's felt the pain, that you feel within
He understands, He is aware
He knows all about it,
'Cause He's been there
He's been there, yes, He's been there
Jesus knows your situation
Yes He knows, yes, He's been there

Mrs. Karen I will always remember your smile it could light up a room. You taught me so much as a technician. You were always telling Toyq and I to smile and woo the customers, you never had a bad day at least you never showed it. I will always remember you

During this most difficult time the scriptures serve as a comfort zone. 2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17; 2Corinthians 1:3, 4 Helping us to see that our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:4 I hope you find comfort in these promises. My deepest sympathy goes out to all the family.

To the family of Karen Barnes,
I have a few memories of Karen, each one ends with the biggest smile spread across her face. A very fond memory is talking through the requirements of one of her school requirements. She was so very close to getting her doctorate degree. We spent 45 minutes one day talking through one assigned project when I said "Karen, do these next steps make sense to you? Her response was..."were you talking to me all that time?" We both busted out laughing hysterically.
Praying for you Bro. Linford and family. She was a devoted soldier with a huge heart and smile. We will miss her at New Direction Bible Fellowship.

To Linford and Karen Barnes sibblings,
My tears I shed with you for the parting of my dear friend Karen;
but yet they run so fast and so quiet.
She wouldn't want time wasted on something you can't go back and
change or that your not going to do anything about. But, this one thing is true she can't deprive my heart the opportunity of the memory of: The visits to Morehouse Dr., The Little Black Girl with the Long Black Pony Tail down pass her back bobbying from side to side.
She- was- smart; Could sew; and made the best Banana Bread;
But, her main ingredient was her "SMILE".
Hearing in her final days that she made the decision that she would not struggle with the choices set before her, but with a clear conscience laid down her life.
John 10:18 comes to mind about Jesus; 'No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself'. Talking about his life.
Karen you've always been a strong 'role model' my sista............
now even to death.
Linford, and Family you are in my prayers!
Love,
Shirlanda
