Obituary of Orissa "Rissa" Williams

Orissa Williams Boone was born on April 25, 1963 in Newark, NJ to Winifred Brown and David Bey. She received her wings on October 14, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Rissa received her early childhood and High School education from the New Jersey School System.  She is a graduated of Delaware State University earning her BS degree in Business.  After school she worked as a hairstylist and a teacher before opening her own daycare Run & Fun.

Orissa and her husband attended Canaan Baptist church until she became ill.  Some of Rissa's hobbies and interest were cosmetology, arts and crafts, traveling and dancing. She was always the life of the party and loved children.

Rissa was preceded in death by her Mother, Winifred Brown; Stepfather, Drabie Brown, Brothers Eric and Ernest Brown; Grandparents, Mary and Samuel Robinson.

Orissa is survived by her devoted husband, Kennen; children, Chaz, Arianna, and Jamall (Kendra); brothers, Andre Brown, Shawn Brown (Vanessa); Grandchildren, Semaj and Kamya; A special Aunt & Uncle, Cynthia and Elijah Bey; mother-in-law, Mary Smart; father-in-law, William Boone and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
