Vern was the reason we went to Hooters. He was a kind man. We all really got to know each other over the years. It was hard to hear that he had cancer and it was even harder to know that he has passed on. It won't be the same at Hooters without him but my lord makes no mistake. May he Rest In Peace and watch over his family until they come to join him in the house of the Lord.

Sorry to learn of Vernon’s passing. I grew up with Vernon in Middletown going to school together and playing Little League. We reconnected through his job many years later. He had the same smile then as he had as a kid. His smiling face will be missed. My condolences to his family.

It was a shock to me when I received the message from your mother that Vernon had passed away. I am so sorry for your lost that words cannot begin to say. Being in both or y'all presence he was a man of little words but a very friendly gentlemen.
