Obituary of Juanita Whittaker
Juanita Whittaker was born on July 27th, 1950 in Wilmington, Delaware to Jessie Rainey Sr. and Lottie Rainey. She attended Wilmington Public Schools.
Before she became ill, she worked for manufacturing companies, janitorial services and her last past of employment, where she met her best friend Mary Brown, was working at Riverside Laundromat.
Juanita enjoyed family times, especially playing cards, going to the casino, playing the lottery, and watching basketball. Back in the day she was known as Tit-Tit and for having a big butt. She was a person who loved everyone with a big heart and would open her door to everyone.
Juanita leaves to cherish her memory to her two children Lisa and Eddie Rainey, four grandchildren Jonnita (Thurmond) Smith, Eddie Stewart, Matt and Cora Rainey, and four great-grandchildren Dayanna Johnson, Jayden, Aaliyah, and Natalie Stewart. Her siblings, five sisters, Delores Young, Joyce( Robert) Dixon, Dorothy Seeney, Pauline Williams, Virginia(Don) Morrison and one brother Anthony(Allison )Rainey. Three devoted friends Mary Brown, Delores Vasquez and Kevin Whittaker and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is now in God’s hands with her mother Lottie Rainey, father Jessie Rainey Sr., brother Jessie Rainey Jr., and late sister Mary Hargrow.
