I like to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. It was never God’s intent that death should rule over mankind. - Romans 5:12; 1Corinthians 15:26, 55; He will do away with it and He has provided hope-as stated at John 5:28, 29. During this most painful time please find comfort from the scriptures.

To the Family and our Bethel Sunday Morning Ministry Family of Bro. David Marshall,
I extend my sincere and deepest condolences to "ALL of You", on the passing of Bro. David. David was an avid and faithful member of our "Sunday Morning Breakfast Ministry" of "Bethel Church".. David was a very knowledgeable person and truly truly loved the "Lord"...
David also loved his "Redskins".. He talked about them "All The Time". (smile)
I'll always remember David sitting in his favorite table in the Fellowship Hall, then after breakfast, going over to join the Sunday Morning Bible Study class.
No matter where I saw David, he would put up his hand and say "Hey"..
David you will truly be missed my "ME" and "ALL" of the Sunday Morning Breakfast Ministry"
I know that you are now "Resting in the arms of our "Beloved Father in Heaven".. Rest on Bro.David, rest on..
Blessings and Sweet Peace,
Sis. Shirley L. Larke

It is still shocking to me that our dearly departed Brother David Marshall is no longer among the land of the living! But as our Father Which Art in Heaven, states no one knows the day or the hour! Brother David had decided to turn his life around and get his own place this summer, but the Lord seen our Brother was weary and called him to rest! Even with a heavy heart and I can smile knowing he knew I was a very dedicated Dallas Cowboys Fan and he would ribbed me about those REDSKINS, and I just shook it OFF! Life is so precious and the lesson I learned from David is LOVE while you can as tomorrow is not PROMISED! So my Brother, Rest in Peace, you will be missed! As we come to terms with this circumstance, my prayer it will draw some of the people who personally knew you to have a Closer Walk with thee!

My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of David Marshall. I met Dave AKA "DJ Loveman" when I started working at Sunday Breakfast Mission 2 years ago. After getting to know him over that time, I didn't see him as just an overnight guest. I saw him as my friend and fellow REDSKINS fan. In John 15:14-15 Jesus saw his disciples no longer his servants, but as friends. David and I were FRIENDS because of the relationship we both had with Jesus Christ. I'm not going to lie, when I heard of his passing, it was a "Hurt piece" to the heart. The good news (Gospel) is that I know where he was lifted to. Jesus called David to come forth (John 11:43). I can rejoice in knowing he is in the presence of the Lord and I can Loose him and let him go (vs 44). TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
