Obituary of Henry L. Christy

Henry L. Christy was born on April 8, 1949 in Wilmington, DE, to the late Leroy B. Christy and Bertha V. Lee-Randolph-Saunders.

Henry departed this life quietly and peacefully on April 14, 2018. 

Henry received his early childhood education in the Wilmington Public School System. Christy was drafted into the military he served in active duty overseas in the Army. Christy was honorably discharged from the Army.

As an adult Christy accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, with the heart of a servant he joined Spirit Life Ministries International. He served his church faithfully with compassion and dedication until his illness under the pastorate of Pastor Kenneth E. Gaines. Christy did everything in his power to do what was upright. He loved listening to God's word on cds, dvds and television.

Henry was preceded in death by his siblings, Leroy B. Christy, Jr., Harry L. Randolph, Euvie Johnson and Denise D. Randolph.

Keeping his memory alive are his children, Stephan L.(Devon) Stockton and Lamar A. Williams; a host of siblings, Gia McClain, Joseph S. Randolph, Michelle Lowe, Darcelle R.(Buck) Wright, Rosalind (Allen) Smith, Robert Randolph, Margaret (Larry) Johnson, Patricia Randolph, Shawn Finner, Jacky Saunders and James Saunders; his loving aunt, Mabel Lee and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, church members and friends.
