Obituary of Missionary Denise Joy Dumpson

Missionary Denise Joy Dumpson- age 58, of New Castle, DE, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 25, 2018.

Missionary Denise was born on August 12, 1959, in Salem, New Jersey, to the late Clyde Osborne and Louise Ellison. After the death of her parents at an early age, Missionary Denise was raised by her Aunt, Mae Osburn. Missionary Dumpson received her formal education from the Wilmington public school system where she graduated in 1976. She then dedicated her career to the Veterans Administration of Wilmington, De, in various positions.

Missionary Denise joined Ezion Fair Baptist Church in 2011 where she became a faithful member. She fulfilled her fiduciary responsibility as a passionate servant of the Missionary Ministry as well as Pastor’s Care.

Missionary Denise is preceded in death by her three brothers Jeremiah, Clyde Jr., and David Ellison.

Missionary Dumpson is survived by her husband Paul H. Dumpson Jr. of New Castle, De, three daughters: Paula Dumpson (Dr. Terrance Newton), Donise Dumpson, and Monise Dumpson; 5 grandchildren: Dajah White-Dumpson, Jahmyah Robertson, Mi’kha Dumpson, Shynise Dumpson, and Myles Scott- Dumpson; 5 sisters: Ellastine and Yvonne Ellison, Sandra Carpenter, April Porter,  and Lucille Jackson; 2 brothers: Norman Porter Jr. and Robert Porter; and a host of relatives and friends.
