Obituary of Joan Marcella Hackett

Joan Marcella Hackett was born on March 19, 1960 in Philadelphia, Pa. to ILear Lindy Hackett.  She passed away on March 22,  2018 at Seasons Hospice Christiana Hospital, Wilmington, De.  

Joan received her early childhood education in the Philadelphia Public schools.  She graduated from Thomas McKean High School, Wilmington, De.  After school she worked at Home Depot, Sheraton Hotel, Wilmington Trust Company/M&T Bank.  She worked at State of Delaware until her illness.

Joan was preceded in death by her mother ILear Lindy Hackett; two brothers, Walter and Donald Hackett; two sisters, Victoria(Frosty) and Ruth Jervey.  

Joan is survived by her son, Tony Marvel Hackett; 1 brother, Arthur John Hackett, Jr.; 4 sisters, Betty West, Barbara Allen(George) all of Wilmington, De., Doretha Minus of Dover, De. and Antoinette Thorpe(Curtis) of Coatsville, Pa., 1 brother-in-law, Louis Jervey; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.  Also special friends, Joyce Brown, Shelly Harper and Patricia Wooden-Skinner.
