I wish to thank everyone for their prayers and condolences. It's not easy for me to let her go, I will still need your prayers from all who knew her. She was everything to me for 72 years. She never let me want for anything, she took excellent care of me growing up and as an adult. I will truly miss her phone calls and her kisses. She is not suffering anymore and I know she's in the arms of our Lord.
Peace & Blessing To You All

To the Barber Family I give my sincere condolences at this time on the passing of Miss Catherine. I've known Miss Catherine over 20 years and haven't seen her in a long time. I always liked her because she was kind and generous. We used to laugh and listen to music playing on the jukebox. One year she made the Sweet Potatoes for me and my children (It was the first year without my mother). Boy were they delicious too with the orange slices in them. I will cherish those memories forever.

I will truly miss my "Visits"; with her when I go to visit my Aunt Boot at Gilpin Hall. I would always stop and give her a "Kiss" while she would be having Dinner...

Dear GLoRia:
My sincere condolences to you. But, oh what
what a long and fun- filled life Miss Catherine lived. She knew how to have a good time. She also never stopped. When she was well into her eighties, I clearly remember seeing her on Market Street shopping with her bags full of stuff.
But above all else family - you and her grandchildren - were super important. She cherished Bethel, being the Mother of the Church and the avenue it provided to her relationship and faith in God. Much respect to MyRon for the way he has supported you.
