Obituary of Stanley Olden Waters, Jr.

Stanley Olden Waters, Jr. aka "Steamer" to all his close friends and family, 56, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Tuesday, September 26 2017.
Stanley was born September 6, 1961 in Wilmington, DE to the late Stanley Olden Waters, Sr. and Margaret L. (Ray) Waters.

He went to high school at Middletown High School and graduated in 1979.  After attending Delaware State University for two years, Stanley enlisted into the United States Army from 1990 to 1995 serving in the Desert Storm Campaign as a Pharmacy technician.  After being honorablly discharged in 1995, Stanley eventually worked as a communication specialist for Comcast cable in Newark, DE.  Those who knew Stanley knew he enjoyed Marvel and DC comics, especially Captain America, working with computers and other technology, all things Star Trek, and singers Teena Marie and Prince.
 

Stanley was predeceased by his parents Stanley Olden Waters, Sr and Margaret L. (Ray) Waters, and an infant son Devon Waters.  He also leaves to cherish his memory 3 children, Nila M. (Will) Crain, Evan Q. Waters and Gabrielle D. Waters; 2 siblings Jemal R. Waters, Sr. and Tamara J. (Gabriel) Givler; 2 nieces Justice A. Waters and Rhyanah A. Givler; 2 nephews Jemal R. Waters, Jr. and Giovanni E. Givler; 1 grandchild Diavian A. Crain and a host of other family and friends.
