Just wanted to say how sad I am of Howard's death. I've been attending VA chapel services for abut 2 yrs nowl I always looked forward to seeing him at the chapel, praising the Lord. I used to wheen him to break room and back to his room. I am so sorry I didn't really get to know him. I was born in Chester also in Oct 23 1q948. I graduated from Chester Hight in 1966. Went a year to Goldey Beacom in Wilmington, then 4 yhrs in the Army Security Agency as a morse codee intercepter. Was lucky not to go to Nam but spent 19 months in northern Thailand, Aug 69 thru May 71. Got intel for the air force to take out the enemy. Once again I so wish I could have told all of this to Howard. I know he is now in a better place and out of his pain.
