To my love of 37 years! Although these last couple of days leading up to your service have been very difficult. I am encouraged in knowing and remembering the things that you taught me and enjoying the most precious gifts that you have given to me. Your children are a great jewel in my life and I thank you for giving them to me. Each one of them have demonstrated how strong and vulnerable they really are. I pray they realize how much you really loved them. As for me I have been experiencing so many different emotions. You leaving me the way that you did was heart breaking but I understand why you had to go. It was selfish of me to make you promise that we would grow old together in spite of all the pain you have been in for years. Watching you deteriorate over the years knowing that this day would eventually come has created several challenges. I have become use to you being gone from the house for days and months at a time for most our marriage but knowing that you will never walk through the door again leaves a hole in my heart. I have watched you go through many challenges and beat the odds of all that the doctors have said. However, I am truly Blessed to have had you in my life for so many years. I will always love you and I am at peace because you are no longer in pain. We will be strong and follow the lessons that you have taught us. The only thing I can say to you now although you can't hear me is to rest well my love until we meet again!

I was so blessed to be the first girl he truly was amazing ND loved to have fun joked around like he was one of the kids at times my mom used to get mad he is the reason I watched basketball at one point wanted to play so he started training me u were very great ND respected when it came to the game harldy anyone can d u on the court I miss u talking crap as u fly past ya opponents to the basket or a quick swoosh in there face lol u meant alot to me u were the only king I allowed into my heart I'm grateful to have known u ND for being there no matter what we do ud always try to tell us to stay strong u always asked if I was keeping in contact with my brothers told me often to try to get the family back together again u loved me passed my situation ND disappointments ND short coming I loved going out with u when I was a lil girl u were so strong ND smart to me ND funny but yet quite ND I realized I have alot of ya genes u were the best dad u could have been and I'll always love u for that I still can't believe you're gone I don't understand how this could be when I just saw u I didn't think for a sec u would never come back home that day u went to Union hospital I can't shake the feeling that something went wrong while u were there and that's why u are no longer here it's hard to say goodbye and for me I'll hold u in my heart till the day I die I think they killed u u didn't die u wasn't ready there was so much I had to tell u there is no way u left this Earth on ya own without the help of them opening u up u still would be here they didn't have a right ya heart was weak ND they already knew that had breathing problems prior to that so why did u operate without anyone permission why did u take such a great man away who was loved by many despite his circumstances he had a family who really loved him nobody can ever replace this empty hole we feel
