Obituary of Delores Harding

Delores Harding, daughter of the late Joseph and Miranda Mosley, was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on December 26th, 1930 and took flight to heaven on October 4th, 2016. Delores was a kind hearted woman who gave light to the darkness of all who knew and loved her. She returned to college achieving a BA in Early Childhood Education from Cheyney University after raising eleven children. She dedicated twenty years of service to the Philadelphia School District touching the lives of young children whom she cherished and adored. An avid reader, Delores also enjoyed sports, especially football, as well as painting, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family. Delores is predeceased by two daughters, Regina and Kimberly Harding. She is survived by sons Melvin Harding, Donald Harding, Shelton Harding, Rahn Harding, Thomas Harding, James Harding; four daughters, Denise Brown, Sherrie Thomas, Joyce Harding and Jacqueline Harding. She leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved her dearly. A special thanks to the staff of Cadia Rehabilitative Services who provided outstanding care and comfort for Delores during her residency at their treatment facility, as well as Dr. Sajid A. Noor and the staff at Christiana Care for the superior medical guidance administered to her while under their professional expertise. All who were touched by her life are welcome to attend her sendoff to the land of eternal peace.
