My prayers go out to the Gordy family. I used to work with Ella years ago. She was a good person. She would keep you laughing. She would let you know when you are wrong also. We would run into one another every now and then. She was always the same. God Bless her soul.

My deepest condolences to the Gordy family and friends, it has been quite a few years since I have seen or spoken to anyone in the family...mainly because I no longer live in Delaware....nonetheless you are all still dear to my heart...memories of things we did in our younger days still bring a smile to my face. Ella was like a little sister to me and I loved her dearly, her bubbly personality and precious smile made her fun to be around...again my prayers and love are with you...may the peace of God bring comfort at this hour of need...a friend forever...Minna

I always had a good time whenever I would visit the Gordy household and Ella and Mrs Mary was usually the reason why. Ella had such a kind and compassionate spirit and I will always remember those times. Ben Smith

Smiles and warm thoughts come to mind when I think of Ms Ella...she will be so missed in the Simpson Family and Delaware community. Prayers to the Gordy & Clark Family and many of her long time friends. Special prayers for the Clark and Bey family for their care and love for Sis Ella during her illness.
