I knew Dorothy when we were both paraprofessionals at Pulaski Intermediate School during the 1990s. At that time I was known as Anne Richardson. Dorothy was dedicated to the children and was always willing to help me when I needed it, whether it was to help me copy papers for my teachers or cover my class while I ran to the bathroom or help me with recess duty. When we were together, out of view of the children, we would cut up and laugh over silly things the kids said or just over our own life events. She was a really nice person and had the biggest smile, especially when she was seeing you for the first time that day. I missed her greatly when she left Pulaski before I did. My condolences to the family, especially her sons. She was very proud of them.

Dear sister, sweet sister, Dorothy. I miss you. You filled an empty space in my heart and now that space is empty again. When I think of you, tears fill my eyes but joy fills my mind because I know that you are in God's arms, and there is no better place to be. You were very special to all who knew you. I admired your strength , endurance and love of life. You are my Shero. I will always love you. Until we meet again.

Dear Aaron and Kimble,
Your mom (my sister-friend), Dottie was a treasure to all who knew her. Dottie possessed a Big personality that could light up a room. And when she gave you that smile you knew that she cared about you; she was genuine. I remember oh, so well when days were bright and easy, Dottie formed a girl's club . We didn't have a name that I remember, but (Williams, Flood, Johnson, Lyles, and Barber) we would meet at Emma's house and laugh and talk about our boyfriends, and eat until we couldn't move our feet. Those good old days have brought us forward to today, now precious memories of our dear sister-friend. Aaron and Kimble you know we visited with Dottie from hospital to hospital to hospital because we loved her just that much. Our God loves her so much more that He called her sweetly from her earthly shell to take her spirit home to be with Him in Glory. Your mom (our Dottie) will probably form another girl's club of Angels and be the best Head Angel for God.

To Her Sons and The Family,
Words can not express how sorrowful we are to hear of Dorothy's passing,, but I would like to give the family these words:
FALLEN LIMB
A limb has fallen from the family tree,
I keep hearing a voice saying "Grieve not for me."
Remember the best times the laughter our songs,
The good life we lived while we were strong,
Continue your heritage, I'm counting on you..
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through,
Our minds are are at ease, our souls are at rest,
Remembering all how we truly are blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small,
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls.
I'll miss you dearly, so keep up your chin,
Until the day comes and we're together again.
Sorrowfully and Humbly
School Mate and Long Time Friend

To Aaron, Vernell, Jr., Emma, Linda, Vivian and the "Entire Williams Family",
My Sister Sandra and I extend our deepest and sincere condolences to "All of You".
Dorothy has been friends of Sandra and I for years.... I (Shirley) will miss seeing Dorothy at breakfast, talking about family and old friends....
Aaron and Vernell, I know you will miss your mother more than anyone can know... but just remember this, "Mother's Never Die, They Just Keep House Up In The Sky" for the "LORD"..and to be absent from the "body" is to be present with our "Heavenly Father".. Your precious mother, will always be watching over "both of you" rejoicing....
May "GOD" keep "All of You", in his tender loving care!!!
Blessings and Sweet Sweet Peace,
Sandra Lewis Graves and Shirley Lewis Larke
