IT COMES A TIME IN MY OWN LIFE, WHEN I NEED TO KNOW, WHO REALLY, REALLY CARES....
I THANK GOD FOR MY LOVING WIFE AND ALL OF HER PRAYERS,
BUT OFTEN TIMES WHEN I NEED A FRIEND, I CAN'T THINK OF NO OTHER....
I PICK UP THE PHONE, CALL HOME AND THERE I REACH MY MOTHER.
MANY TIMES A PUSH MAY CAME TO A SHOVE... IT TOTAL MY MOTHER'S UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
THE BIBLE PLAINLY TELLS US IF WE WOULD MERELY TAKE IT ALL IN,
THAT THE PRECIOUS LOVE OF JESUS HIDES A MULTITUDE OF SINS.
SO WHEN I'VE CROSSED MY BRIDGES WITH TRIALS,
HE'S BROUGHT ME THROUGH.....THANK THE GOOD LORD JESUS....
FOR A MOTHER JUST LIKE YOU !
WITH MUCH LOVE,
- Bishop Ellis M. Davis, Sr.

I would like for you to know that our hearts have been warmed by the kindness you have shown to us, during the passing of our Mother. Every card, visit, prayer, etc. and your thoughts in other tangible ways of kindness is deeply appreciated. Thank-you for taking the time to surround us and lift the Mother Davis' Family, up during
this transitional period in our lives. I will always and forever cherish your caring expressions of humble kindness during our hours of bereavement. It is my sincere prayer that God Will Continue To Bless Each One Of You.

Greetings Family and Friends:
I am so pleased that my mother is no longer in any pain. I pray that my immediate
family will continue to hold on to what Mother Davis has taught us. It is the true
and beautiful memories that will help us along the way. While on her Jesus Journey mom went beyond the call of duty in serving her family, friends, others and her community as well. The inscription I requested above her body said it all: "Let The
Works I've Done Speak For Me."...That it is does for this lifetime! Also, thanks
to everyone for their humble and unselfish support as Mother has traveled home on
the Wings of Angels, We Too Shall See Mother Davis again, it is apart of our just
reward. Finally, Thank-you ever so much to Mr. Wright for their extreme acts of professional services....and then to my youngest brother, Bishop Dion D. Davis for always standing guard, while awaiting the Angels to take Mother on her final Jesus Journey,
Mother May Now Rest In Peace. Amen

Davis family, what an honor to approach the throne on Resurrection Sunday! Aunt Margaret is surely resting in God's arms. While we'll miss her voice, we know that her spirit lives on in heaven. We will press on towards that same mark. Peace and Love to each of you.

Ms. Margaret was a very sweet lady. She watched me grow up with her grand kids in Riverside. She was the best candy lady ever. She never hesitated to correct us when we were wrong and I remember her favorite thing to say to us girls was "That's not lady like." She will forever be on my heart. Family you will remain in my prayers.
