George was the son of the late Irving and Nancy (NeeWilson) Thompson also predeceased by 1 brother Charles A. Thompson and 1 sister Nancy Jean Honey. He leaves to mourn his passing, his devoted wife and caregiver, Delores Whittington Thompson; son Kalem Mahdi(Glenn M. Thompson); 2 daughters, Tanya R.(Randall) George and Vikki Kai(Wesley) Hurst, Sr.; 7 grandchildren; 1 brother Saladin(Fareeda) Mahdi; 1 sister Alma Ruth(William) Hatten; devoted sister-in-law, Eunice E.
