The Savage Family
My heart goes out to you and your family in your time of grief. Just know that she is safe in the hands of the Lord, and believe that one day you will see her again.
I did not know your mother on a personal basis, she was my mother's first cousin. I think that I met her maybe twice in my life. Years ago I started doing research of my family history and got to know your Aunt Lula Mae quite well from our phone conversations. It has been a blessing just knowing of her. I'm sorry that we will not be able to attend her home coming. Trust in the Lord and stay strong, and keep her memory close to your heart. God Bless, Jannette Brunson, Annette and Shirley Bryant.

Sharon,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of loss. A mother's love can never be replaced or leave your heart.
We little knew that day that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Aunt Sharon, Uncle Clif, Uncle Wayne, Elder Savage, Aunt Verne, and Uncle Brian: You are in my thoughts and prayers. Mother Savage was a true Mother indeed. My memories of her go back as far as I can remember. She truly had a heart for people, especially young people. I remember our counseling sessions when I was in middle school. Whenever I visited she always sent me home with a goodie bag of snacks and a huggie:) Precious memories...oh, how they linger.

To the Savage family, i know how you feel but God knew what was best. Be encourage cause weeping only endures for a night your joy is coming in the morning. Mother Savage was a woman after God on heart, she said what she meant and meant what she said (didnt sugar coat anything). I will continue to keep the family in my prayers.

My greatest memories are of a sweet, delicate, caring, elegant, straightforward, poetic, compassionate woman of God. She used to teach my Sunday School class and I remember that all of the children loved her. I can't remember a time that I ever heard her raise her voice. I remember sleeping over, at her house, and being tucked in by a heavy quilt. I also remember a bit of advice about raising my children. They are old enough @ 6mos to be disciplined. And she was right. It was difficult for me to see her these last years. I wanted the Mother Savage I'd always known to stay fresh in my memory. I got a little teary eyed when she passed but I said "To God be the glory." She lived her life for Christ and heaven is her just reward.

To The Family,
Please accept my condolence, knowing that the Bible refers to death as an enemy that will soon be "brought to nothing", according to 1 Corinthians 15 26.
Is it not encouraging when we reflect on Jesus Christ's assurance that one day all of mankind will have the privilege of reuniting with our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death? This loving promise is found at John 5 28, 29.
Again, please accept my condolence.
