To The Family,
Please accept my condolence, knowing that the Bible refers to death as an enemy that will soon be "brought to nothing", affixing to 1 Corinthians 15 26.
Is it not encouraging when we reflect on Jesus Christ's assurance that one day all of mankind will have the privilege of reuniting with our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death? This loving promise is found at John 5 28, 29.
Again, please accept my condolence.

Mrs. Roman, Bev, Sharon, and Chook,
Your husband and your dad was a man that not only hid the word of God in his Heart; but also, he without hesitation shared God's words with those he met. His walk and the work he did in the Lord definitely spoke for him!! Without a doubt, he is pain free in Heaven with Our Lord.
I recall countless times calling Mr. & Mrs. Roman just to "check on them". We would talk about EVERYTHING...and always ended w/ "Love you"!
Although I am older now & have a family & husband of my own, you never forget those persons who have impacted and influenced how you raise your children, and over all inspired you to make the world a better place than you found it. Your dad did that for me!
Mr. Roman will be missed but his spirit lives forever!
We are here for you!

To the Roman Family, Mr. Roman was an awesome, amazing man of God, and definitely a true male role model. As a child, living across the street you never really know how watching the actions of your neighbors impact your adult life in developing one's expectations from a man. Mr. Roman truly provided for his wife, his children, and definitely the upkeep of his home. He was always outside or doing something around the house. Additionally, he kept those black cars in the driveway clean! He was very kind, encouraging, and supported my parents, sister and I in many things. He was truly someone you could depend on and sincerely cared about people. Even though we no longer live on Rivanna Road, it will not be the same without him during my occasional drive-bys from Virginia. However, I will always remember his sage wisdom and the love I felt from the all Romans across the street. I love each of you!
God Bless,
-Kiah Spinks
