To The Ponzo Family,
My heart is truly sadden to hear of the passing of Sherray... I am in "shock" as I write this message to all of you... I met Sherray many many years ago, when she babysat for a very good friend of mine.. Howard Sharps.. Sherray was always smiling and happy... I found out that I knew her mother Anna, when I met Sherray... After many years, I saw Sherray again.. all grown up with children... I have not seen Sherray since... But I never forgot her kindness and wonderful spirit!!! "GOD" truly has an "ANGEL" in his arms.
Anna and family.. Please know that..
Sherray's journey has just begun... life holds so many facets.. this earth is only one...
May "GOD" continue to bless and keep all of you in his tender loving care..

Miss Anne, Sharde, and Moray I just received the news about Sherray's passing. Sherray was always very sweet and friendly whenever I saw her in passing even if it was going downstairs to do laundry at 1302 Elm Street. All you guys were great neighbors and nice people to have around. Me and Sherray gave out Halloween candy one year and we had so much fun doing it. To The Ponzo Family,
I was so surprised to hear of the passing of my childhood friend. Sherray was such a joy to be around. I’ll never forget when we decided to join the school band. I choice to play the flute and what do you think Sherray choice?? A great BIG trombone!! LOL…. Her and I would laugh through out the entire band class at her blowing that big trombone! That was Sherray....she kept you laughing. Her big beautiful smile will be missed.

To my family,
Words cannot express the loss that I feel: Tanya you will be missed. I thank God for the time that He gave us growing up together. The times we shared when you use to come to Baltimore to visit. R.I.P to my talented cousin Tanya who was an actress, singer, dancer and family comedian. Years ago she told me to never be afraid of performing infront of a crowd. I wish I had the confidence she often displayed. She always made me laugh as a child and she put a smile on my face back in November at our annual family Thanksgiving. She was the life of the party and her sweet smile was contagious. She will surely be missed by all who loved her.

Words cannot express my sorrow. Sherray was a wonderful person, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Sharde, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to say goodbye to my friend. There is no greater love than that of a mother for her child(ren), and they (Sharde/Moray) were loved. I will miss Sherray's infectious smile, and sparkling personality. My heart is saddend to hear about my good childhood friend. Tanya, I will always remember your bubbly personality; your warm smile and hug that you would give me when we saw each other. The way that Mom Ponzo would cheer us on as we sang in the choir at Friendship Baptist Church when we were young and our school days when we would just be kickin it. I bring my condolences to you for the passing on of Sherray better known to me as "Tanya" My heart is filled with a sadness because of the special person tanya was to me. Sometimes we think that some people are just going to live so much longer than ourselves that we never think about a day that they might not be here anymore, so when that call comes to them we are so caught off guard that our hearts weep in a silence because of their absent.
Family earth has no sorrow that heaven can't heal, and just to know that Jesus will meet us when we need Him the most is great comfort, because He can be trusted.
