Dear Resurrection Family, I am expressing my condolences over the lost of your wife, your mother, your daughter and friend in Collette Marietta Patrick-Shockley. Father, in The name of Jesus, I pray that you would cause the grace of your presence to shine on this family give them comfort as none can do. Bring them even closer and cause memories to bring laughter. Cause the reality of all that they have experienced from you to be alive in them. Carry them, hold them and show them that you are the God of Collette's salvation and that Death had no sting for her....Meet their needs ...Father, even in the midst of sorrow you are able to make our burdens lighter...do so for them in the name of Jesus! I am Tina Wright-Holmes mother Collette was one of Tina's best friends when I saw one I saw the other. She will be missed by those who loved her including my family also. My condolences goes out to her family. We won't be able to make the funeral because we are just finding out that she pasted and but we will be with her family in spirit. Collette, was one of my best friends in college. When ever I came home I had to find her to spend some time with her. We did some crazy and fun things when we were in college and after college. The last time I came home I could not remeber where her house was I went her uncle's house as I always did when I came home there was no one there, I did get to see her and now I won't see her anymore. But I will always remember and cherish the fun times we had together all of us stuffed into her white car riding to the store and to the mall. The trips going home to visit for the weekend and sneaking off to visit my cousin at Morgon State College. The fun time we had traveling with the band our freshmen year was the bomb. I love you girl and I will miss you dearly. We were all blessed with your presents for the time God allowed us. We love you but God loves you best.

Collette was such a light to so many people. Her genuine concern for her fellow man always shined through. I am blessed by God to have had the previledge to have Collette has a friend. Her faith has be an encouragement fo me. The same God who carried her when life became to heavy, is the same God that will do the same for use. David, Zeek, and Zack, she loved you the most. She has left you with all you will need to continue on, knowing that she has tought you the power and importance of having your own personal relationship with the Lord. Mrs. Robertha, you raised a beautiful daughter who always spoke of the love of her mother. Micheal and Wanda she talked about how you can always count on your siblings to keep it real. Pop, Angie ,Liz, Dee,Billy all of you, Collette loved you all each in a very unique and special way. We will miss her, but what she wants is for each of use to see her again in that great getting up morning when the Lord crackes the sky. God Bless Us All!!
