Colon Haines Alston son of the late Arthur and Blanche Headen- Alston was born October 16, 1931 in Chatham County, NC. He retired from Chrysler. He also served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Nannie Alston; beloved father of Lamote Alston, Teresa Alexander; brother of Macie Hadley, George Alston; an adopted sister Grechen Alston; an adopted brother, Eric Alston and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
