Obituary of Rossie Lee White

Rossie Lee White was born on February 14, 1932 in Rockland, DE to Evelyn Shaw White and General James White. He departed this life on Friday, march 12, 2011 in Wilmington Hospital. Rossie attended Howard High School, and later left to enlist in the United States Army. He was married to the late Doris Faison and to that union, four children where born. Upon completion of his service with the United States Army, Rossie was employed with B& O Railroad, and with the City of Wilmington, Department of Public Works. Rossie enjoyed going fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Faison; both parents, General James and Evelyn White; one, sister, Anna Mae White; four brothers, Leroy, Benjamin, Tommy and Eugene White. He leaves to cherish his memories, four sons, Bernard Johnson of Newark, DE, James (Susan) White of Baltimore, MD, Anthony and Rossie White, Jr. both of Wilmington, DE; one daughter, Regina (Marc) Websber of Newark, DE; two brothers, James General (Lucinda) White and Joseph (Jacqueline) White; 3 sisters, Allie Mae McLaughlin, Dora Kelley and Laura (Melvin) Jones; 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; a devoted and loving friend, Susan Flowers, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
