Hey Ricky! I was in Wilmington yesterday, and I thought about you. It's hard to believe it will be 3 years we have been without you, and my, time sure does fly. I miss you and continue to watch over us. I really hope they find out who did this to you. You did NOT deserve this :(

My big brother, my ace, my friend. The first person to take me under their wing when I came to DSU. The 1st person to show me Wilmington. The person who convinced me to stay in dsu when I contemplated leaving. My roommate.....Wow Ricky, Jim...you meant a lot to me and you still do. The only person in the band I truly respected on the basketball court.....i think about you often wondering how things would be today if you were still here... I miss you bruh, LOVE YOU... I ride past your grandmas once a week just look over them even though I dont stop by...I still cant do it yet....

I have soooo many memories of MY brother..so for me to list them I would need more space then this...lol, but what I will say is I'm so hurt that I lost MY only brother in the world...but I'm glad I got to spend time with him b4 his life was taken away from us that night...we will miss him , and he is watching down on us all...If I could rewind that night I would have been with him that whole night to make sure he was not in the particular spot that night...but unfortunately I wasn't, so now he is in a better place and I love and miss him dearly...!! To those mourning the loss of Ricky English: although I did not know Ricky personally, it is evident that he was well-loved and had a warm & wonderful spirit. We have all felt the agony of losing a loved one in death. Please accept my sincerest condolences in your time of loss. To all who loved and enjoyed Ricky while he was here, I am so sorry for your loss. Ricky was an outstanding young man who brought joy to everyone. From A.I to Del State we all had good times with Ricky and will miss him terribly. But lift up your spirts durring this time of grieving and know that God has given us a promise that allows us the hope of seeing our lost loved one again. I am a friend of Nelson's. It was through Nelson that I came to know Ricky. From first meeting Ricky I realized what an amazing spirit he had. Always laughing and joking. His laugh was infectious. He was truly a good guy and an overall good person. I enjoyed being around them both. I am just so sorry to hear that he is gone, so-so sorry.

To My Sister Betty, my nephew Nelson, Aunt Geneva and Family:
When I got the call, my life changed. I am so sad and heartbroken. I spoke to Ricky about 4 weeks ago. Brian had stayed with him for 2 weeks and they were having a good time, as usual. I remember all the days Brian, Nelson and Ricky were together as brothers. We will really miss him. Even though he is my cousin, we were raised as us being sisters and our children as brothers, since I was so happy to ask you to be Brian's Godmother.
