Obituary of Ada E. Conway-Barber

received our Angel on June 21, 1958 and she was welcomed home to rest by Abba Father on November 23, 2012. Ada was born to the proud parents of Warner J. Conway Sr and Annie L. Conway. Ada was a graduate of the class of 1976, she recieved her high school diploma at Howard High School where she excelled in cosmetology. Having a heart to care for others Ada became a trained certified nurses assistant, working at places such as The Layton Home, Riverside Hospital, Select Care, and for the last fourteen years she held a dedicated position at Ministry of Caring where she took care of the sick and those in need. Our Angel joined Greater Bethel Apostolic Temple (New Destiny Fellowship) in 1988 and was filled with the Holy Spirit in January of 1993. Ada was a student in Bethel Bible Institute where she took various classes to become a Biblical Counselor. Her time was mainly devoted to the Deaf Ministry where she was a interpreter, teacher, and choir director. She also enjoyed morning prayer, reading Gods words, and changing her nail color at least twice a week. Most of all she enjoyed spending quality time with her family. Ada leaves to cherish her husband Michael Barber, three daughters Doris Conway-Simmons(Arnold), Lydia Conway-Dent of Philadelphia(Rodney), Bernadette Conway-Butler(Jabal), three stepsons Tyresse, Micheal, and Maurice, three grandchildren Stephone, Savonne, Sha'Miere Conway, and two great grandchildren, two sisters Jean Hicks of Coatesville, PA, Doris Alexander of Wilmington, DE, and a host of nieces and nephews. Ada was preceded in death by her father, mother, and her best friend her brother Warner J. Conway Jr. Read Ada Conway-Barber's Obituary and Guestbook on houseofwrightmortuary.com.
