I didn't know Darlene, but I've been knowing Dougie since we were in middle school- Bancroft, Junior High.. and met Rev. Bruce and Andrea at PACE School... I am so blessed to know.. Dougie, Rev. Bruce and Andrea.. So, I know that Darlene was a "Special Angel" to "YOU" the family and "ALL" that knew her..
Please know that: Darlene's journey has begun... Life holds so many facets -- this earth is only one!!! Darlene is laughing, and rejoicing with her "Earthly" Father and "Our Heavenly" Father... She is styling hair for all the "Angels" in heaven..
So, may all of you, take "comfort" in knowing that your precious "DARLENE" is no longer suffering...... She is "HEALED"...

I did not know Darlene for a long period of time but I do know that she loved the Lord. I looked forward to my Saturday hair appointment when Darlene and I would share stories about the goodness of the Lord. I believe that she is at peace and at rest. I wish to extend my deepest condolences to Darlene's family. I was one of her clients for over 20 years and my mother and grandmother were also clients of hers before they passed. She was a wonderful person who truly loved the Lord. I will miss her gentle spirit and the talks we had. She is no longer suffering as she's home with the Lord. Darlene was a precious individual. I've never met anyone in my lifetime that was as caring, loving, friendly, and forgiving as Darlene. She was a excellent teacher in showing love to close friends, human dignity, and acceptance of individuals as they are without judgement. We shared a poem called Precious Moments it spoke of living ones life to its fullest each day and sharing moments with loved ones and friends. That Poem exemplified Darlene. Darlene's spirit and smile will forever be in our hearts.
