alvan i remember that smile like it was yesterday . i cried and cried and cried some more but it wont change the fact that your gone . i cant begin to explain how much i miss yoou baby boy . you were one of my closest friends growing up . i pray for you and the fam . watch over everyone . its a sad sad thing . alvan was a good person and sur e a good daddy =] rests in peace my friend. i love you so much .

Alvan,
I could not believe that you passed away.I remember the days of chasing you and Mark Williams to class at Conrad and running you out of breakfast in the morning because you took so long to eat because you were such the social butterfly. You were a lively young man and I use to love watching you guys play basketball. My heart was saddened to know you left us. May God bless your soul and keep smiling in heaven. I will miss your smile. To the family- May God continue to watch over you during your bereavemant and comfort you in your darkest hours.

To All of Us Who Share in this Loss,let us be mindful that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord...and we are aware that at a time such as this there are really no words that can comfort, there are no acts of kindness that can truly ease the pain, BUT there is a name, a name that is above all names that when called upon can reach the deepest hurt and bring you out of the darkest cave. Family, at this time let us come together with the love and patience of Jesus the Christ whose suffering on the cross has enabled Alvan to enter into eternal rest. Even in our sorrow, let us be thankful that at the name of Jesus death has no sting and the grave has no victory, only for a short while and we who BELIEVE will share everlasting life with Alvan when we meet with him in Glory. God's got it....whatever it is, God's got it. Trust, believe, be still and know that HE is GOD and above HIM, beisde HIM there is no other. Comfort one another, cry if you must, let anger take no root, for truly vengeance is mine saith the LORD!!!!
