Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmetullah Wa Barakatu, 2 years and the pain is still the same. Holding on to the rope Allah has made it easier to move forward but, I miss you so much and think about you each and every day. I still have the coffee on my desk at work that you told me to bring home because I didn't know anything about that "Nescafe" lol. You told me that you would NEVER leave me unless Allah took you from me...and that he has. Your Aunt Berlin and I miss you dearly. I wish you could have known our son Novian. I remember what was & I consider with much pain what could have been. I'm sorry if I failed you in any way. I remember your letters telling me about your conversion to Islam. I remember telling you that I have no religion. I remember how respectful and how nonjudgmental your responses were. My brother from another, cant believe my baby not here. This just isn't right. I got that eerie feeling when we had breafast that day that it was gonna be the last time I saw you and it was. Im glad we hugged and said we loved each other. I will never forget the many trips of running back and forth to Ferris to pick you up for home visits and all our conversations and laughs. My little brother!! I love you and you will be truly missed.

To my family, stay strong and believe that KB is in a better place and that there is no more suffering. Aunt Shayne I love you and know that I will always be here for you if you need someone to talk to and a shoulder to cry on. Knowone will be able to replace Kevin but just know that he has left a million and one memories behind. He is in a better place right now and only FAITH is going to get us through this. To my entire family stay in prayer and believe that there will be a time when we will meet and see him again. I never thought by meeting you at the age of 5yrs old you would have such an impact on m y life and the life of my family. We went through so much together, at such a young age. You were always a great friend, someone I could talk to for hours at a time. Your life was so precious and I appreciate every moment you were here on this earth. Words can not express the hurt and the pain I am feeling, but I know you are resting in God’s loving arms. You were once my protector and now my heavenly father is protecting you, so rest easy.
