I knew this young man as a wonderful friend and Sgt Demby. Demby was one of my best friends. He loved the Army, his wife, daughter and his friends. I met Demby in Ft. Huachuca Az in around 1983-1986. Demby was a gentle giant, a wonderful soldier. I pray for the daughters and Nickie... I don't know for sure if Demby ever married Nickie, however, I do know that they had one daughter at the time... I'd been searching all over for Demby for years and our other friend Godfrey sent this notice to me. My search is now over looking for you Demby.... I love you friend forever... See you on the other side. Thank God, I can rest now knowing you are with him resting.

I can't believe it has been almost 2 years since Marshall "Michael" Demby passed away. I will continue to pray that his daughters are remembering a MAN many may have forgotten. May GOD continue to bless and keep you both along with your mother. Michael meant alot to me during my youth and to know that he left this earth to join is parents, along with his brothers and only sister is a blessing....

To Michael's daughters. Your father was a true friend to me many years ago. I pray that you both know that he was a man of integrity and loved you both. When God saw fit to call him home he did and gave him rest. No one could ever take your father's place, allow the love, affection and great memories to be forever in your hearts. May the mercy, blessing and gift of God dwell in your hearts forever.
