To the family and friends of Ervin Brower: although I did not know Ervin personally, please accept my deepest condolences in your time of sorrow. The pain of losing a loved one is not one that subsides quickly, especially when their life ends unexpectedly. May the following thoughts from God’s Word prove to be a source of comfort and hope as they have been for me and my family during times such as these: At John 11:25, Jesus told Martha, "I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." Shortly after speaking those words, Jesus resurrected Lazarus back to life right here on earth. Very soon God’s Kingdom (Matthew 6:10) will permanently remove death, resurrect our loved ones, and restore all of our bodies back to their original perfect state. May this future promise sustain you during the difficult days ahead.
Most sorrowfully, Mrs. Williams

Erv, ever since i was little hanging with you my brothers( Ed, & Rob) and Rashaad, i always told myself i wanted to have a little bit of all of all of you in me when i grew up. I always wanted to be like you guys... I can't sit and explain how long I've sat and cryed because I didn't loose a friend, I lost one of my older brothers.... I remember we always sat and played playstation or something and would always fight about who won. But i never thought when i saw you 2 weeks ago that it was going to be the last...But you will always be in my heart with everything i do in life, and I'll always remember you telling me to do my best in everything.
Thank you fore everything you've done for me...Without my brothers i wouldn't be who i am now.
Luv you bru

Ervin,
I remember meeting you for the first time at our part time at Sears several years ago. I had no idea that you would become one my closest friends. You were the type that would come through and hang out or just talk and share things with me. Thank you for being the guy that I could relate to and talk about serious issues with and also joke with no end. You told me a few weeks ago that I inspire you but with all that you accomplished you have inspired me to be a better human being. I will miss you and the pain I feel transforms into comfort knowing that you are home with God and will always be there when I need to talk about something. Thanks brother, I love you and will never forget you, rest in peace.

My Family offers their deepest condolances. My Parents loved your son. My sister Portrice use to date your son in high school, and my father always told her that she let the good one get away. Kendale was such a nice young man. He use to stop by the house just to say hi to my parents when he was in town. It had been a while since we saw him and my mom had just asked about him. I can't imagine the pain that the family is going through, but do know that there isn't anything to hard for God. "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6. Nothing can take this pain away but the love of Jesus. Be Blessed, lean on the everlasting arms of the Lord for your comfort. He will be missed but never forgotten.

It hurts me so much to be writing this so soon. Kendale, this was so shocking and unexpected.Words can't express how I feel. You were definelty one of a kind and so unforgetable. I will miss your positive attitude and your laugh! You were always there for me whenever I needed you, even as my days as a yung girl,u were there to take me to work and u always gave me great advice about life situations. It's so crazy because u know we were just talking about mortorcycles, and I asked u if u were ever scared when u got on ur bike, and u said "everytime" and I said asked if u wear ur helmet everytime and u said "always" The world will not be the same without you, and you are greatly missed. I will always listen to"500 degreez" and think of u,Summer of '02 u played the heck out of that cd in ur baby (the 626) u loved that car!I will never forget u, and u will always be in my heart. I promise ur memory will not be in vain, I will make you proud. Love You Always!!

To the Brower family:
My most recent memory of Ervin is so clear: “Ms. Payne, what about the measurements you promised me?” I fussed as usual and said: “You need to fix that hole in the side of the townhouse first before fooling around with a privacy fence.” I gave him the measurements and the next day, he fixed the hole!
Ervin was a good neighbor with a tender spirit who always wanted to do what’s right. He will be greatly missed.
My heartfelt sympathy to the family. Be strong and be blessed. --- Regina Payne, 4413 Foxtail Lane, Richmond, VA

To the family of Kendale:
It saddens me to hear of the passing of a young man who I looked at as family. It is my prayer that God strengthens and sends to the family the Spirit of Comfort that He has promised us. I say to the family, look to God. Even in this time of hell give God praise like He just blessed you with Kendale for today Kendale has received his wings and he is rejoicing with the angels in Heaven.

Kendale,
I remember speaking to you about Kenny and what a loss that was and now Ty and I are speaking of you. The good memories will carry on. I can't believe that it had been over 7 years since we have last seen each other and now I will have to wait a little while longer to see you again. Though, God had his reasons. Condolences to the Brower family. Number 6 on the field and number 1 to many. Rest in Peace Sweetheart.
