Obituary of Bessie S Williams

Bessie S. Williams, daughter of the late Emmanuel and Mary Spencer, affectionately known as "Auntie" was born October 24, 1918 in Pondtown, MD. She departed into a peaceful rest at Heartland Hospice in Newark, DE on Saturday, October 10, 2009. Bessie received her education in Delaware and Chester, PA school systems. Bessie was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Robert A. Williams. She was a member of The National Church of God Inc. in East New Market, MD where she served faithfully. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Williams; sister, Ethel M. Carter; two brothers, Emmanuel Spences, Jr. and Charles H. Spencer. She is survived by one brother, Elder Howard A. Spencer; four nieces, Brenda A. Saunders of Wilmington, Bessie Y. Johnson of Toledo, Ohio, Victoria L. Williams and Gladys A. Freeman of New Castle; two nephews, Charles A. Carter III of Newark and Howard E. Carter of Wilmington; seven great nieces and nephews, Dezmon Faulkenstein, Tainikka Wilson, Sonja Messina, Charles A.
