To the Baine family, I was a student of Ms. Baine going to DAPI in 1982, and she took me under her wing and for that I loved her so much, we lost touch through the years but she never left my heart, I have been thinking about her so much this past year, and today I said I don't want to do this but let me check the papers.. Ms. Baine was awesome she was truly a gift to me from god... I know this is late but I am so sorry for the lost of a wonderful person, she always treated me like her daughter and not her student!! She is an angel in heaven!! May god bless you all.

To the Baine Family,
Mrs. Baine was my teacher for 2 years in a row at DAPI. She was a wonderful teacher and I truly considered her a friend. Through it all, she always encouraged me to keep my head up and reminded me, that even though I was a teenage mother of two, I could do anything I put my mind to with God's help. I am so thankful for having the opportunity to have been in her presence and receive her empowering words of wisdom that have still helped me today. Your family is in my heart and prayers....God Bless.

To: Josh, Shayla, Aaron, Josh III, Kelley, grandchldren, & Marni
It is with deep sorrow that we express our heartfelt sympathy at this time. Psalm 116:15 says: "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints." Bambi's struggle with health issues is over. God has wiped away all tears from her eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain. All of that has gone forever. Jesus was preparing a place for Bambi and He came early on Saturday morning as she ran through the valley of the shadow of death. She wanted to stay here to be with you for a while longer, but when she got a glimpse of the Master's face, she ran on to see what the end would be. She heard Him say, Well done, Bambi, you have been faithful; enter into the joy of your Master. We pray God will comfort you and give you peace.
Sorrowfully,

Bambi and I were our Alexander grandparents first grandchildren for 3 years - we were hang out cousins and we are double first cousins - our Singleton fathers married our Alexander mothers. Bambi was always so talented and I looked up to her for that and told her "Bambi, I have hidden talent," we would always laugh when I would say that to her. I'm heartbroken but I'm grateful to God that you're no longer in pain. I loved you Bambi, and you knew that. Your double/first cousin, Ernita Singleton Green.

Baine Family,
Your family played a special part in my childhood. All the time that I spent over at your house with Kip were great times. During that time Mrs. Baine treated me like her own son. There were numerous time when she would feed me lunch or I stayed for dinner. She made feel like part of the family. She will truly be missed. We can take comfort that she is with our Father in Heaven.
With Love and Condolences,
Bryan

Bambi, Juanita, was one of my older cousins, so she was one of the first to get go to college, (Delaware State...I think) get married, have her own place, have children. Little did she know my young eyes were taking note and filing away information on what it meant to be a grown up adult and what was expected of you in life. Yes cousin, you made a difference even when you didn't realize you were.

Sister Baines was just a wonderful person to talk with. I appreciated the fact that she saw something special in my daughter and encouraged her to become a praise dancer. Because of Sister Baines vision, my daughters Jamilah, Paulette and two granddaughters are now in this ministry. She will be missed by all of my family.
Our deepest sympathy and joyful praise that one of God's chosen is now resting in his Glory. Amen
