Serena I remember when I first met u... it seems like yesterday!!! Man I really cant believe that you are really gone... God only takes the best!! I'm missing you like crazy... You god daughter is getting big and bad... she is a mess I wish you were her to see her... man its crazy its not a day that goes by that I dont think of u... sometimes i pick up the phone and dial your number...smh.... Damn, i miss u already it didnt dawn on me until i went too 7 11 around your way on 273.. i just started to think about all the times me, u, kyra, and lewis used go there to stack up on munches. even though we left off on bad terms u were and always will be my dogg/ big sister..every time i go to wildwood i think about how much fun we all had there...Damn im a really miss chillin wit u every night like we used to and rankin on people...my GOD bless yall soul 100 different ways baby girl.. and do me a favor ask GOD to save me a seat next to u so we can laugh and joke and rank on people up there like we used too....i will always love u serena peterson and may your soul rest in peace...sorry i aint come in see u on your journey away but i rather remember u like u were smiling and laughin wit ya pretty self...see u when i get there B.....

To The Peterson Family:
Words can't express the sadness that I have in heart right now. Hearing about Serena's death really hurt me because I just seen her a few weeks prior to her passing. She was such a beautiful person inside and out and always had you laughing. I remember the days a CHS she was such a good friend.
I know she is up above smiling down because she is in a better place.
Louis keep ya head up and try to be strong I remember when ya'll came to CHS I laugh thinking about how much fun those days were.
I miss you so much Serena you will be truly missed by everyone you crossed paths with!!
May GODS peace be with you and your family during this time.
I wish I could attend the service but prior obligations are not allowing me to attend but I am definitely praying for the family.

I do not know any of you but I would like to share my experience that I had with Serena. Last Saturday, my son and I were on our way to an a appt. Well I ran out of gas and she saw us pushing my car. Serena kindly stopped and asked me if I needed help. I accepted because you don't meet to many kind people in this world anymore. She took me to get gas and brought me back. During the ride she told me about the books she wrote and was trying to get a old friend to illustrate them for her, but it did not work out. she seemed like a person that was well on her way. Serena was a great person to know and was a kind hearted young lady. I didn't know her very well, but she lived in my neighborhood during middle school and high school. Everytime I saw her, she was always with Louis and I could tell they had a close knit relationship.
