Maurice E. Hackett "Pop" "Hackett" of Wilmington, DE, age 70 passed away July 2, 2009 at Heartland Hospice. He was born July 6, 1938 to the late Alex and Corrine Hackett. He wroked at General Motors for 29 years and also worked in the Red Clay School District for 9 Years plus other jobs. He enjoyed foing to Health Spa's. car shows and casinos. He was a wonderful man who would drive millions of miles to helf someone. He was preceded in death by his son, Andre L. Harris. He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife of 52 years, Alice Hackcett; 1 son, William Yates; 2 daughters, Tonya and Andrea Harris; 2 brothers, Alex Hackett and Dr. Marvin K. Hackett; 1 sister, Victoria Hackett; 2 sister-in-laws, Sharon Hackett and Phyllis Hackett and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren.
