Ron-bug, my sister and best friend, it's been so hard for me since you left. My days are not the same. I miss seeing you ride pass my house every day blowing your horn to alert my dogs that their Auntie Ronnie was out front. I miss you so much and still some days are harder than others. I have so many private memories of you and the things we used to do and talk about! We still listen for your horn. When I mention your name, the dogs run to the window to see if your there! You will never be far from my heart and my thoughts. Please make sure to let God know that I have to have the house next to yours!!! I love you and miss you dearly! Rest in peace my BEAUTIFUL sister!

Dear Sister,
I thought of you today, I miss you sooooo..... much. Even three years after you and mom went home, the loss is still very fresh in our minds. I thought of you recently when I went to put the AC unit on and couldn't reach the cover to take it off. I remember you saying to me " Carol leave that thing alone, I'll be over to take that cover off for you." You're too short to reach it. I just smiled !!! You are always in my thoughts. I speak of you often in conversations with others and we are still laughing about all the things you used to say. LOLOLOLO...! I know you are resting well there in Heaven. So Give our Love to mom and the family there.
Always Love,

Today was your Birthday!!!
I remembered how excited you would get when your birthday would come around. I felt your presence around me all day. It was a good day, Mary, Denny, Latica Jones & I went out to the cemetery to visit you. Trish called and gave us her greeting to give to you and so did Stephanie Bernard. You know, we just had to sing one of your favorite songs to you, " Happy Birthday to you." I know there was a Big Birthday Celebration going on up there in Heaven today in your honor. Hey Ronnie Girl,
We just had the first anniversary of your homegoing. I miss you so... much and still think of you often and daily. The girls in the choir still talk about you and your funny ways and funny sayings. I know you are in a better place but I wish every day that you were still here with us sisters & brothers. We celebrated your homegoing by visiting your grave at the VA Cemetary. I also remembered that you didn't like pink so I got you some very pretty White Gerbera Daisies. I brought you a new flag too. There were five of them, one for each of us. Mary and I talk about you all the time now. Thanks for visiting me in my dreams too. You are still the Diva...!!!
Rest on in the arms of Jesus dear sweet sister, I'll see you on the other side of the River Jordan one day. Tell Mom and Dad I said hi and that I Love them and miss them too...

Auntie Mary and Cousins - Your loss is our loss! Ronnie's passing was quite a shock to all of us. We will always cherish memories of summer gatherings on the farm in Burkeville, working in the many gardens, being chased by hunting hounds, picking our own switches when we neede it ..., eating good old country cooking, chillin' at Prince Edward Lake on Sundays after church services at Morning Star, riding in the pick-up truck to see movies at the Grove Drive-in, the day we jumped off Aunt Belle's tin roof and because she was so tall, Ronnie sliced her arm and had to get stitches. With her fashion sense and height, Ronnie could have become a model, but she chose to become a soldier, setting an example for the other female soldiers in the family that followed in her footsteps. We were all proud of her. We'll miss her jokes and laughter.

To: Miss Mary and Carol:
Roni will be missed.
She always made fun out of forgetting my name. She always wanted to know that the K. was for. I always insisted that the K. be included in my name. She laughed when I told her. She of course would never remember or played that she forgot, I am not sure which is true. Instead, she would call me about 6 names before getting in correct.
When we had our Faith Choir Christmas Party I have a picture of her with Rain Deer antlers on and a red nose. That was a happy party. I will keep that day in my mind as I attend the service tomorrow.
