To the Tucker Family and Sharon Lester Family.
My heart goes out to the family with the passing of one of my oldest choir members.I still remember the first day she joined the choir at our old church (8th Street Baptist Church) just like it was yesterday. Sylvia and I always
sat by each other at rehersal and on the Sundays that the choir had to sing. She would always ask me for Mentol mint candy that she liked. We would always joke about who was the diva in the soprano section. (smile)We had just joked about her coming back to the choir and she didn't want to audtion. But she did and had just sang on the first Sunday of this month.I will truly miss my choir member sister.
But I know that she is singing in the heavenly choir and looking like the diva that we all will remember.
My prayers go out to the family and remember God will always be with you.

To the Tucker and Laster Family (Sharen and Trista Laster): Sylvia will be truly missed. I remember singing on the choir with You (Sharon) and Sylvia at 8th Street, and I remember seeing her all around after I left the church. She was always such a joy, and very plesant to be around. Her passing is a shock to us, but a part ofthe plan for God. Please take comfort in that. She was sharp until the end, and is even sharper in her robe of white draped in gold.
God Bless,
David and Nakishia Bailey

To the family, As a neighbor of Sylvia's and living in the same building, I saw her just about everyday and parked side by side with her in the lot. The last time I saw her she was on her way to sing at church. On her way out she let me know that a tree had fallen in the back and not to go out that way. That was Sunday the 7th after we had a bad storm that Saturday. That was the last time I saw her. What I wanted to share was I know she's ok because she continued to serve the lord. I will miss her dearly.God Bless.

Our Cardiac Team had the chance to pass Sylvia's spot everyday sometimes four times a day. We looked forward to her hair style and often commented. Beyond her beauty and style she always liked us. She had such a great way with all St Francis patients. Love to her beautiful family.

I've been at St. Francis Hospital only a short time and did not get to know Sylvia personally, but she made a lasting impression on me nonetheless. Every time I would walk by her area, she would give a big, bright, genuine smile and say hello. I know she will be missed by many and my thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
