I met Mr. Jones on only one occasion when he shared with me his memories of desegregating Selasianum School in 1950. I was fortunate to make the acquaintance of this remarkable gentleman and am grateful I was able to record his story for posterity.

One of the 1st Africian Americans to integrate Salesianum School in 1950. A real pioneer. I met Bill long before I ever knew that he was one of the men who made it possible for me to attend salesianum. I am so thankful that he was able to know that his efforts were appreciated.
