She was beautiful inside and out ,a focus, a strength and yet “Sweet” also but do not get it twisted she didn’t take no mess. My Grandma Carolyn did not let the grass grow in between her toes suffering a stroke in her later years that lead her to render aid of a cane and brace on the dominant right , along with battling cancer. She pushed and pressed on letting nothing stop her She loved to shop, cook, eat, sew, watch soap operas ,western, movies with a bag of popcorn at her lap. My Grandma was the best in the world and I miss her dearly she taught me so much and I can say I literally was here right hand and humbled to be by her side till the end. May God forever keep you Grandma ( your look alike) -Naima Hallman

To William, Ahmal, and Gamel: I am so sorry for your loss. I know it is very hard dealing with the loss of your mom but she is in a better place now where there will be no more pain and discomfort. Although she is gone now, you guys still have each other; stay close and lean on one another when times are tough. There aren't too many things in life that are more special than the bond that a man has with his brother. Good bless you guys and your entire family.
