Obituary of Eric /Farid Lewis Guy/Mohammed

He was born on November 24, 1954 in New Jersey. He was a graduated of P.S. duPont High School. He attends the (Muslim) Masjid AlKauthar. He was employed at Prices Run Day Care as a driver for the school van. His hobbies were martial arts, black belt, business owner, teacher and mentor. Eric was a pioneer of the martial arts movement in Delaware. He was an "exceptional martial artist, teacher and student. He fought many tournments and won numerous trophies. He was known nationally as "Demon" in martial arts circles. He was also known for his smooth dance moves and sharp style of dress. He was preceded in death by his father, John A. Guy, Sr and Bro. John A. Guy, Jr.; He leaves to cherish his memories, 3 sons, Eric Shannonhouse, Naim and Hakim Collins; 4 daughters, Chantel Shannonhouse, Lakiesha Hergrow, Jasma Collins and Khadijah Scott all of Wilm., DE; son of Mary J. Guy and the late John A. Guy, Sr.; 1 brother Darrell L. Guy of Wilm., DE, 1 sister, Dianita L. Allen of Wilm, DE, 1 stepbrother Derrick D. Johnson, brother-in-law, David Allen, sister-in-law, Tonyia Guy, Godbrother Kevin Gandy and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
