To the family of Dr. Janet Fountaine: I was greatly sadden to hear about the pasting of Dr. Fountanie, A great woman of faith who was an encourager to so many. She helped me in so many ways both personally and Spiritually. She was always kind and respectful to everyone she met. I look at her as a spiritual mother to me and my family who enjoyed spending time with her. We got to go Ashland Virginia with her to the campground which was a wonderful experience for her and us.She will greatly be missed but we know that one day we all will once again be reunited never to part again.I know she was a good and faithful steward of the gifts the Lord gave to her. We know she now has no more pain and is enjoying being in the presence of our Lord.
With love and fond memories

We, the children of the late Maxie and Frances Davis, were sadden to learn of the passing of your mother/sister/grandmother, Janet Alma Daniels-Fountaine. Ms. Janet and our mother met during their high school years at the acclaimed Howard High School and remained friends for many years up until our Mother's death on March 17, 2006. When Mom married our father, Maxie Davis in 1950, she asked Ms. Janet to be her maid-of-honor. When Mom's health was failing, Ms. Janet prayed with her and told her that she would see her again in the "Resurrection." Today, we can celebrate because Ms. Janet will see God and my mother again. Ms. Janet will be greatly missed; she always had words of wisdom to share with those whose paths she crossed. We will always be forever thankful for the friendship that she and our Mother shared. Love from the Davis siblings; Brenda, Linda, Detra, Arletha, Tracy and the late Maxie, Jr. and Ricardo Davis.

To the family of Dr. Janet Alma Daniels-Fountaine when you hear the words âÂoeLet The Work I Do Speak For Meâ this is truly a representation of Dr. Fountaine. She was a woman after GodâÂ(TM)s own heart. I am so thankful for the time she had spent with me and spoke into my life. She was a soft-spoken woman and surely was a respectable woman of God. When the bible speaks in (Proverbs 31-10) âÂoeWho can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubiesâ this scripture had Dr. Fountaine in mind. I was saddened when I heard she went to be with the Lord, but I always knew that God would always take his BEST. Dr. Fountaine will surely be missed in my heart, but not forgotten. Family, may you be encouraged in knowing that this Woman of God has freely given herself to so many people and in so many ways. Each and everyone of us has a personal testimony of how blessed we were to be touched by the love Dr. FountaineâÂ(TM)s shared with us. We will forever keep her love close to our heart. I Love You Dr. Fountaine for all you have done for me.

To the family of Dr. Janet Fountain; Purnell and Karen, I was indeed saddened to hear about the loss of your Mother. Dr. Fountain always offered so much help and inspiration to me and my ministry while I pastored in the New Castle, De. area. I am so greatful for the wisdom and direction she lent to me during that time. Yet, through all of the sadness, we know that if we live right we will see her again.
