Bobby was the DART driver who took time to explain routes to me when I came to Wilmington and didn't know my way around. He became a good friend and we always shared laughter and jokes. The last time I saw him was a few months ago and as usual, we had our share of laughter and hugs. I didn't realize then that this would be the last time I would see my dear friend. I pray that God gives comfort to his family and the many friends (especially the DART drivers) who loved and cared for him. I will always remember him for his kindness and friendship, and mostly importantly, the jokes and laughter we shared! Farewell, my gentle Giant!

Mr. Bobby, as we respectfully called him, will be truly missed by the vocational trainers and students of the Meadowood Program @ Dickinson H.S.- Red Clay Consolidated School District. He was very instrumental in assisting our challenged students with traveling training on Route 6. A favorite memory is when Mr. Bobby was not the driver at our scheduled pick up time-the students did not recognize the driver and would not board the bus with the substitute driver! When the next bus arrived and they recognized that driver, we were on our way to job training! Boy, did Mr. Bobby get a scolding when he returned to the Route! He told the students that he was taking turns on driving; that someone else had to learn where to drive, in case he was absent. The students understood and all was well. He is missed very much...
May your fondest memories of him be of comfort to you always, as they will be for us.

Dear Bereaved Family,
Please know that our prayers are with you and your family in this time of sorrow. Your father, brother, and our friend, Bob was a dedicated bus operator for Dart First State. Although he stood tall, he had a gentle touch and was respected by all who knew him. We will surely miss his mild demeanor and most of all his great SMILE.
Sincerely,
Phyllis Morris
