I am so sorry to learn of Vanessa's death. My brother, Stanley (Rambo), told me. Vanessa took care of me when I had stomach surgery at St. Francis Hospital in May of 2002. She was an aide at the time. Vanessa took care that my comfort was ensured and that I didn't need or want anything. She showed so much compassion to me, and I am eternally grateful. She made my experience as a patient at St. Francis so much more tolerable than if I had to do it without her.
