Matt & to the rest of the Stanford family, My condolences to you all. I miss mom so much already and talking to her everyday about Sanai and dinner. It has been hard not to hear my phone ring in the evening and knowing that it was her time to call. I am glad that I have saved the messages that she left the days i wasnt home, that just said i love yall, or have a good day, or what you having for dinner Qui(you know mom liked to eat! lol) and we had this lil joke going on about me cooking with green peppers & onions...she would say "Qui, green peppers & onions dont go on everything honey" and we would laugh. I will miss going to braid her hair every week and taking care of business for her. I loved her like she was my real mom, and i cherish the time we spent. I'm at peace knowing she wont be in pain anymore. I promised her last Tuesday that I will never let Sanai forget her and this promise I will keep. Though we may have wanted her here, God wanted her more in his precious care. She will truly be missed.
