Obituary of Sgt. John Edward Wise

Sgt. John Edward Wise, Sr; began this life on August 27, 1943 born to the late Oneita Catherine and Elwood James Wise in Stockton, MD. He served in the United States Army. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart, the Good Conduct Medal, and a Combant Infantry Badge. He retired from the Salvation Army of Delaware after 25 years in December 2006. He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter Andrea Wise, his son John Wise, Jr., a daughter in love Renee Wise, a son in law to be Ernest DeRamus whom helped in caring for him, two brothers William (Mary) and Willard Wise; two sisters Marlene Wright and Gloria Jean Wise, his devoted cousin Rosetta Manuel, seven grandchildren, Brenda Wise, Johnny, Juanita, Jazzie, and Jamar Tribbett, John Wise, III, and Nikia Stone and eight great grandchildren.
