To our Mother Brenda and our Uncles and Aunts:
We cannot possibly know the pain of loss that you must be feeling at this time. Just know that the love you have for your father enveloped him during his time here on earth and will continue to be with him during his travels in heaven. The memories and love kept him going through some of his roughest times and for this we are sure that he was grateful as well as blessed. God knows that the last several months have been tough for Pop Reuben and we cannot be angry that God chose to take him away. For as much as we all want him to continue living here on earth with us, where he is now, is so much better. Take comfort in knowing that he will no longer feel the discomfort of pain and he will not experience sorrow. He is reunited with Mom Jennie and Pop Moss as well as a host of family and friends who have preceded him, So, he will not be alone.
As far as us here on earth, as much as we will miss him in the physical world, there will always be something to keep him with us in our hearts and in our minds. It may be a certain smell, a passing thought or a song. Your thoughts of him may be in the sunrise or the sunset or in the ever-changing seasons. So "Let not your hearts be troubled" for he will live within us, always. His blood runs through our veins. Pop is in a heavenly place, a place that is peaceful and calm. We could not ask for a better place for him to be.
We will always love you not only during this difficult time but always. You all are in our thoughts, our hearts and in our prayers.
Humbly Submitted,
The Harrison Children
