To the Spady Family,
The encouragement we give you is remember that God's grace and love are sufficient for any situation we could ever experience, even death of a loved one. God will listen to your fears and be assured, He is in control. May God enduring love be with you in the loss of your loved one, LV.
Fond Memories:
I've known LV all of my life; we were neighbors; we attended African Baptist Church; we grew up and played together; we attended high school and took some of the same classes; we worked in the fields together; LV always had a kind and caring spirit. To those of us who are left, we have loss one member of the Crossroad gang! We sincerely will miss him, but thank God for the opportunity to have known him.
We love you LV, and you will be missed by all of us!

L.V.'s presence in Heaven will leave a void here on earth for all of us who knew him. But, he has embarked on a journey that we all must take someday. Our prayers are that he is at peace now, because we know that all of his pain has ceased. May God bless the Spady family and give you the strength you need to go on from here.

Ynetta & Family,
I'm sorry for your loss; I'll keep you in my thoughts.
Here are two quotes that I felt may ease your loss,
"For death is no more than a turning of us over from time to eternity." by William Penn
"What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal." by Albert Pike

To: The Spady Family
"Be strong and of good courage. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9
From: Pastor and Mrs. Joseph L. Smith, Jr.
May Grace and Peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God Jesus Christ Our Lord. We were sorry to hear of the Homecoming of your beloved father Deacon. We extend our deepest sympathy to all the members of your family.
Incidents like this remind us that God's ways are not ours, for His ways are as far above ours as the heavens are above the earth. We believe all things work together for good, for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.
We are praying your strength in the Lord. He has, promised that His grace will be sufficient for every trail and tribulation. He will lift-up every bowed down head, He will dry-up all sorrowful tears and He will bid-up every broken heart.
So cast all of your cares on the Lord, because He cares for you. Time is the great healer of sorrow, so wait on the Lord and be of good courage and He will strengthen thine heart. May God hasten the day when you can look back on this experience and declare that the Lord is still good and his mercy endures forever. Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life.
God loves you and so do we,
Pastor and Mrs. Joseph L. Smith, Jr.

May peace be supplied to you all by the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. Please remember that ...
"Earth had no Sorrow that Heaven cannot Heal"
His word says "That I go to prepare a place for you and where I am may ye also be" so we know that Luther is in the best of care because he indeed is with the father...
